كميسيون مستقل حقوق بشر افغانستان در اعلاميه كه منتشر كرده است نگراني خود را در مورد وضعيت رقت بار و ناخوشايند حقوق بشري كودكان افغان اعلام داشت.
در اعلاميه آمده است ، خشونت هاي فزيكي و رواني از جمله تحقير و سرزنش ،عدم توجه به كودكان ، سوي استفاده جنسي ،قاچاق ، تحميل كارهاي اجباري و شاقه، ازدواج هاي اجباري قبل از وقت و خشونت بر مبناي جنسيت را ميتوان نام برد كه بر كودكان افغان واداشته شده است.
بر اساس گزارش هاي كميسيون مستقل حقوق بشر افغانستان 38 فيصد كودكان به انجام كار هاي خارج از توان شان گماشته شده، 31 فيصد به خدمات صحي دسترسي ندارند ، 26 فيصد از كسب تعليم و تربيه محروم اند ، 48 فيصد ازدواج ها پايانتر از سن 16 سال صورت گرفته است.
